Trainee / Graduate Design Technician

Wolverhampton

Starting Salary £24,784.50 - £26,000 (DOE) + Full Training + Career Progression

Looking to kick-start your career in construction design? Whether you’re a graduate, trainee, or have hands-on experience in construction, engineering, or manufacturing, this could be the perfect next step.

We’re working with an award-winning specialist in light steel frame construction, delivering major student accommodation and later living projects across the UK. Due to continued growth and a strong 2026 pipeline, they’re looking for an ambitious Design Technician to join the team.

You’ll receive full training in Revit, AutoCAD, and MWF Shop Drawings, learning how to produce technical drawings, material schedules, and manufacturing shop drawings while working on exciting live projects.

What we’re looking for:
• A degree in Construction, Engineering, Manufacturing (preferred, not essential)
• OR relevant hands-on industry experience
• Some AutoCAD and Excel knowledge
• Strong attention to detail
• A team player with a willingness to learn and progress
• Passion for construction and design
