Our clients are one of the largest multi-disciplinary partnerships in the UK providing engineering and design consultancy services with innovative, cost-effective and sustainable solutions for challenging environments. Due to a healthy forward workload, they are currently looking to appoint a Graduate Engineer in the Structural Engineering team in Kent. The successful candidate will have a fantastic opportunity to work in one of the UK’s leading Civil and Structural Engineering Consultancy’s, working with businesses, architects and planners and providing integrated solutions across many disciplines.

The Structures team specialises in providing high level advice to mainly private sector Clients on all forms of Structures, including retail, schools, renewable energy, and industrial developments throughout the UK.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Your principal role will be to work alongside a Senior Engineer within a dynamic team, helping produce designs and assisting with the preparation of drawings. As you progress you can expect to be active on a number of projects and to work with a number of clients at any given time.

QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE:

* Candidates must have an MEng or BEng(Hons) in Civil/Structural Engineering or related subject

* Two years post graduate experience is minimum requirement is desirable but not essential

* A keen understanding and interest in design and construction would be advantageous

* CAD/Revit experience an advantage

* Good report writing and communication skills required

* Flexible and enthusiastic approach to working within a team structure

* Confidence and ability to maximise the level of responsibility taken on projects, small and large

* Clean driving license is desirable but not essential
