Graduate CAD Technician

£25,000 - £35,000 + Training + Flexitime + Progression + Company Events

Are you a Graduate CAD Technician or someone with a background in AutoCAD looking to kickstart your career with a growing engineering consultancy that will invest in your development and provide training?

Would you like the opportunity to work on a wide variety of MEP projects, learning from experienced engineers while developing your skills in AutoCAD, Revit, and technical design from concept through to construction?

On offer is the opportunity to join an expanding engineering consultancy where you will play a key role delivering high-quality technical drawings for mechanical and electrical building services projects such as hospitals, residential buildings, research facilities and more. Working alongside experienced engineers, you will receive training while developing your technical skills in CAD, BIM, and construction documentation. In this varied role, your responsibilities will include producing technical drawings using AutoCAD and Revit, assisting with project documentation, updating drawings, and supporting engineers throughout the design process. You will gain exposure to UK Building Regulations, British Standards, and BIM workflows while working on a variety of exciting projects in a collaborative and supportive environment.

The Role

Producing technical drawings using AutoCAD and Revit
Supporting M&E projects from concept through to construction
Assisting with project documentation and drawing revisions

Knowledge of AutoCAD, Revit, or similar CAD software through education
Commutable to Cambridge
