A well-respected and established business is looking for a focused and ambitious Graduate Business Development Manager looking to kick start their career in IT Sales. Along with basic salary of up to £30,000 per annum, you will also receive a commission structure with an OTE £60,000 per annum, hybrid working (travelling 20% of the time), a car allowance and 26 days holiday + Bank Holidays.

You will be joining the team of a software development and services company based in Northampton specialising in document management and output management by providing a suite of business automation software that focuses on improving document automation, workflow, collaboration, and internal and external communication for their 400+ customers. 

As a Graduate Business Development Manager your responsibilities will include: 

Developing and executing strategies and plans in order to achieve sales targets
Generating direct customer meetings, demos and workshops through different sources
Demonstrating and clearly differentiating the product from the competition focusing on our clear and compelling value proposition
Forecasting and delivering against revenue targets and achieve the assigned sales volume
Identifying new opportunities and following up on defined opportunities
Working with partners in order to maintain and expand the business within assigned customer accounts
Working with the marketing team to drive lead generation and awareness
Supporting channel planning process and forecasting for assigned territory
The successful Graduate Business Development Manager will have the following skills and experience:

Have a degree and possess natural conversational ability and good rapport building skills - we're looking for somebody who can think on their feet and engage confidently with clients
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Competitive drive / some previous experience in sales
Enthusiastic approach to work with a strong desire to achieve
Target driven and able to work to deadlines
Confident, tenacious and ambitious
