Description:

BTG Eddisons is a leading firm of Chartered Surveyors, operating in fast-moving and dynamic markets across the UK. Established in 1844, we operate from over 35 offices nationwide, delivering expert advice and a comprehensive range of professional services to property owners and occupiers, businesses, and financial institutions. We pride ourselves on our ability to provide innovative, practical solutions and exceptional client service. As our business continues to grow, we are looking to attract talented individuals who are keen to develop their careers within a supportive and progressive environment.

Real Opportunities, Real Responsibility

As a Graduate Building Surveyor, we truly believe you have what it takes to help shape the future of the property industry. From day one, you will be given real responsibility and exposure to a variety of projects and clients. During our structured two-year graduate programme, you will develop far more than just the technical skills required to succeed in the profession. You will also build the leadership, communication, and commercial skills needed to accelerate your career.

What You'll Be Doing

As a graduate in our Building Surveying & Project Management team, you'll join us on a two-year journey towards becoming a Chartered Building Surveyor through the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS).

You will have the opportunity to work on a wide range of challenging projects and professional instructions, including:

* Client briefing and project inception.

* Building inspections and surveys.

* Project design and specification writing.

* Report preparation and technical advice.

* Contract administration and project delivery.

* Site supervision and progress meetings.

* Dilapidations, maintenance, and professional consultancy work.

Alongside your day-to-day responsibilities, we will fully support you through your Assessment of Professional Competence (APC), providing mentoring, guidance, and practical experience to help you achieve Chartered status.

Who Are We Looking For?

We value graduates who aren't afraid to step up, challenge the status quo, and make a positive impact. With that in mind, we're looking for individuals who have:

* A collaborative approach and the ability to think innovatively.

* A passion for building strong, long-term relationships with clients and colleagues.

* A commitment to delivering excellent client service with integrity and professionalism.

* Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.

* The ability to adapt and remain agile in a fast-paced environment.

* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

* The enthusiasm and drive to inspire those around them.

Requirements

* RICS Accredited BSc or MSc in Building Surveying or a related discipline.

* AutoCAD LT proficiency.

* Full UK Driving Licence.

We are keen to hear from both recent graduates and candidates who have already gained 12 months or more of relevant Building Surveying experience, whether through a placement year, graduate role, assistant surveyor position, or similar industry experience. This opportunity provides an excellent platform to further develop your skills, progress through the APC pathway, and build a successful career as a Chartered Building Surveyor with BTG Eddisons
