Description:
Graduate Application Engineer / Technical Support Engineer / Internal Sales Engineer required to join a leading engineering manufacturer of pumps based near Slough.
The successful Graduate Application Engineer / Technical Support Engineer / Internal Sales Engineer shall assist the sales channel with providing end users with technical and application support.
The Graduate Applications Engineer / Technical Support Engineer / Internal Sales Engineer will ideally have experience in a technical sales support role or similar within the mechanical engineering sector.

£28,000-£32,000 depending on experience

Graduate Application Engineer / Technical Support Engineer / Internal Sales Engineer Role
Assist the sales channel with providing end users with technical and application support.
To deal with all customer queries promptly & accurately and to arrange salesman to visit the customer if appropriate.
Providing the correct Engineering advice for post-pump installations at the project planning stage
Generate & provide quotations & proposals for mechanical engineering equipment such as pumps, motor sets, rotating equipment, heat exchangers, valves, flow instruments, mechanical assemblies and similar.
Carry out contractual review and preparation of formal quotations against customer requirements.
Provide technical sales support and cover to other Sales Engineers and all aspects of Customer services - e.g. order processing, expediting, documentation etc.
Offer customers advice on pump systems & components.
Liaise with various engineering departments.
Graduate Application Engineer / Technical Support Engineer / Internal Sales Engineer Requirements
Determination, enthusiasm, and motivation to succeed and grow with a reputable pump manufacturer.
Technical aptitude and/or understanding of mechanical engineering systems. Full product training provided.
Mechanical Engineering competence
Ability to handle technical mechanical engineering application issues.
Experience as an Applications Engineer, Proposals Engineer, Internal Sales Engineer, Technical Advisor, Technical Support Engineer, Technical Sales Support or similar.
Service Engineers with pumps and/or rotating equipment experience looking to come off the tools would also be of interest.
A technical engineering qualification would be advantageous.
