Swindon, Wiltshire | £40,000 – £45,000 | 4 Days Onsite, 1 Day Remote

Are you a GRC professional ready to take ownership of governance, risk, and compliance at a business that takes it seriously?

We're recruiting for a Governance, Risk & Compliance Manager to build, embed, and continually strengthen the organisation's approach to governance, risk management, and compliance. This is a hands-on role covering the full framework — from shaping policy and process through to ongoing monitoring and improvement — working closely with technical teams, senior stakeholders, and external auditors along the way.

Data protection will be a core part of the remit, so strong working knowledge of UK GDPR is essential, including practical experience with Records of Processing Activities (ROPA), Legitimate Interest Assessments (LIA), and Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIA).

This role is for you if:

* You hold one of the following certifications: CISA, CISM, CRISC, or CISSP

* You've built or matured GRC frameworks and managed risk registers and compliance audits in practice, not just on paper

* You have solid, practical experience with GDPR compliance, including ROPA, LIA, and DPIA documentation

* You're comfortable translating technical risk into language senior stakeholders can act on

* You want a role with genuine ownership, not just box-ticking

What's on offer:

* Salary £40,000 – £45,000

* Based in Swindon, Wiltshire, with a hybrid split weighted onsite (4 days onsite, 1 day from home)
