The role offers a daily rate of £625, inside IR35, with flexible hybrid working arrangements. (client is based in London).

Role Overview:
This first-line management position plays a crucial role in supporting and enhancing legal entity governance and managing programs of work associated with Governance and First-Line Risk Management. The successful candidate will be integral in coordinating and supporting governance structures, contributing to committees, and engaging in strategic regulatory projects to enhance governance models.
Key Deliverables:
* Support the functioning of the administrative organization and internal controls systems.
* Provide updates and contribute to the Operations and Outsourcing Committee and related groups.
* Coordinate sub-committees, ensuring enhancements are identified and implemented.
* Engage with group governance representatives to maintain best practices.
* Work on strategic regulatory projects to improve governance models.
* Support the First-Line Risk Management Lifecycle.
Experience Required:
* 7+ years in the financial industry, with experience in Governance and first-line risk management.
* Knowledge of FCA requirements.
* Ability to work within a global matrix structure.
* Strong communication skills, capable of drafting and reviewing key documents.
Skills Required:
* Excellent relationship management and proactive engagement skills.
* Ability to manage multiple projects and tasks simultaneously.
* Excellent problem-solving and attention to detail.
* Experience with regulators and the regulatory examination process.
* Passion for understanding the unique business community and online payments business.
Team Dynamics:

Candidate Requirements:
* Strong understanding of governance in a Payments organisation.
* Program Management experience across multiple workstreams.
* Excellent presentation (PPT) and communication skills.
* Ideally, a background in banking/payments.
* Mid/Senior level experience, degree preferred but experience is paramount.
