Goods In Operative

Description:

My client are currently seeking a Goods In & Out Operative / Driver for their specialist manufacturing facility based in Alfreton.

Your day to day duties will include, but won’t be limited to;

* Receiving incoming shipments, checking for damages or discrepancies and processing outgoing orders

* Safely operating a company van for deliveries and collections

* Loading, unloading and moving parts around the factory using a forklift truck

* Packing components and products ready for customer dispatch

* Completing manual and digital logs accurately

* Maintaining a clean, organised and safe working environment

* Following company procedures, Health & Safety guidelines and PPE requirements

* Safely lifting and handling heavy items where required

* Assisting in other areas of the department when required

Requirements;

* Previous goods in/out, warehouse or stores experience is advantageous

* Full UK driving licence

* Forklift counterbalance licence/experience

* Basic computer skills

* Strong work ethic and willingness to work overtime when required

* Reliable with excellent time-keeping and attendance

Hours of work are;

Monday to Thursday - 7am - 3:30pm
Friday - 7am - 2pm
(Overtime available during busy periods)

This role is being offered on a full-time basis, working 39 hours per week, Monday to Friday.

Rate of pay is negotiable depending on experience.
