Description:
Triton Recruitment are currently looking for a Goods In Operative in Tockwith.
This is a great opportunity for someone with previous warehouse or goods in experience who is looking for a long-term role.
Hours:
* Monday to Thursday: 7.30am – 4.30pm
* Friday: 8.00am – 1.00pm
Duties include:
* Receiving and checking incoming deliveries
* Unloading deliveries safely
* Checking goods for damage and reporting any issues
* Recording deliveries accurately using warehouse systems/scanners
* Ensuring goods are correctly labelled and stored
* Stock rotation and following FIFO procedures
* Maintaining accurate stock records
* Supporting stock checks and inventory counts
* Maintaining high standards of cleanliness, hygiene and food safety
* Liaising with suppliers and other departments regarding deliveries
* Following all company health & safety procedures
* Other general warehouse duties as required
The ideal candidate:
* Previous warehouse or Goods In experience is preferred
* Experience within food/FMCG would be advantageous
* Good attention to detail
* Reliable and punctual
* Strong work ethic and positive attitude
* Able to work in a fast-paced environment
* Good communication and teamwork skills
* Comfortable with manual handling and working on your feet
* Experience using warehouse systems or scanners is advantageous
* Forklift licence would be beneficial but is not essential, as training can be provided following the probationary period
Additional information:
* Overtime may be available during busy periods
* PPE will be provided
* Full training will be provided where required
