GOODS IN / DESPATCH INSPECTOR
Pay: £18.5 - £30K per annum (depending on experience)
Hours: Mon - Fri - standard working hours
Driver Hire is recruiting on behalf of our client for an experienced Goods In / Despatch Inspector to join a busy manufacturing workshop based in the Inverurie area.
This is a varied role responsible for managing incoming materials, preparing customer orders for despatch, and ensuring all items are handled, stored, and packaged safely and accurately.
Key Responsibilities
* Receipt and process incoming materials using the company computer system
* Store and distribute materials safely and efficiently
* Prepare customer orders for despatch
* Use internal systems for receipting and despatch activities
* Carry out dimensional checks on raw materials
* Assist with annual stock takes
* Conduct weekly stock checks of packaging materials
* Maintain a safe, clean, and organised work area at all times
What We're Looking For
* Computer literate with good attention to detail
* Strong verbal and written communication skills
* Experience working in a fast-paced environment and meeting deadlines
* Previous experience within a manufacturing or workshop environment
* Ability to read and understand manufacturing drawings
Location
Candidates should be able to reliably commute to the Inverurie area or be willing to relocate prior to starting.
