About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and strategic Global Asset Operations Manager to lead the coordination and optimisation of our medical device asset fleet across multiple regions.

In this highly visible global role, you will establish and drive a unified asset governance model, standardise fleet management processes, develop performance metrics, and deliver data-driven insights that optimise asset utilisation, service levels, and cost efficiency.

Acting as a key link between regional operational teams and global leadership, you will ensure asset management strategies are aligned with business objectives while supporting Sales, Marketing, Logistics, and Service & Repair functions worldwide.

Key Responsibilities

Global Asset & Fleet Management

Coordinate and support regional asset teams to ensure consistent global standards, processes, and best practices throughout the asset lifecycle from New Product Introduction (NPI) to End of Life (EOL).
Develop, implement, and maintain a global fleet management policy covering lifecycle management, service levels, compliance, and cost control.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and asset performance.

Performance & Analytics

Design and maintain a comprehensive KPI framework to monitor asset performance, utilisation, availability, compliance, and total cost of ownership.
Develop executive-level dashboards and reporting that provide visibility into fleet health, costs, trends, and optimisation opportunities.
Use data and analytics to identify improvement opportunities and support strategic decision-making.

Cross-Functional Leadership

Partner closely with Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain, Logistics, and Service & Repair teams to ensure assets are available, compliant, and utilised effectively.
Collaborate with regional stakeholders to drive process standardisation and governance across all markets.
Act as a trusted advisor to senior leadership on asset management strategy and performance.

Cost & Sustainability

Lead initiatives to optimise fleet sizing and utilisation while reducing total cost of ownership.
Identify and implement opportunities to improve operational efficiency and drive cost savings.
Support sustainability objectives by improving asset lifecycle management and reducing environmental impact.

What You'll Bring

Essential Experience

Proven experience in medical device asset management, particularly managing assets deployed within hospitals, nursing homes, healthcare providers, or similar care environments.
Experience leading or supporting global or multi-regional operations within a matrix organisation.
Strong understanding of asset lifecycle management, service operations, logistics, and fleet optimisation.
Experience developing and managing KPI frameworks, dashboards, and performance reporting.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business, or a related discipline.
Advanced degree or relevant professional certification is advantageous.
