Description:

Excellent opportunity for candidates with either academic or commercial GIS experience to join an established team in Glasgow City Centre on a hybrid basis.

Skills & Experience Required

* Proficiency with GIS software, ideally ESRI ArcGIS

* Experience of working with data from asset management systems, ideally SAP

* Experience with database programming languages such as SQL, R or Python

* Proficiency with MS Access, MS Excel • Experience in working with large datasets and in analysing data quality

* Analytical mindset.

* Accuracy and attention to detail

* Problem solving

* Ability to quickly learn new software applications

* Decisive, able to quickly recommend changes

* Flexible and adaptable to change

* Good communication skills including the ability to provide feedback and escalate issues

* Able to manage work in a structured and organised way, and to present back in a clear and concise manner

* Ability to work within a team
