The Role

As a Geotechnical Engineer, you will be involved in a wide range of projects, taking responsibility for technical assessments and geotechnical design work. You will collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams and clients to deliver practical, cost-effective engineering solutions.

Key responsibilities include:

Geotechnical interpretation of ground investigation data
Foundation design and recommendations
Slope stability and earthworks assessments
Retaining wall design and analysis
Geotechnical reporting and technical documentation
Preparation of design calculations and specifications
Liaising with clients, contractors, and project teams
Supporting junior engineers and contributing to project deliveryRequirements

Degree in Geology, Engineering Geology, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline
Experience within a geotechnical consultancy or engineering environment
Strong understanding of geotechnical design principles
Experience using geotechnical software packages
Excellent report writing and communication skills
