Aureos are seeking a Geotechnical Engineerto work with us inCopgrove.Wecombine technicalexpertisewith a collaborative approach to deliver design, survey, and consultancy services across the power sector. As part of the Aureos Group, we support a wide range of overhead line and underground cable projects-bringing together planning, environmental, and site-based teams to deliver practical, high-quality solutions

Our Geotechnical Department is looking for an enthusiastic and detail-driven Geologist with a minimum of 2+ years of experience to become part of our highly skilled geotechnical team.

This exciting role offers the perfect mix of office-based project work and hands-on field experience, giving you the opportunity to work across a wide range of transmission and distribution network projects.You'llplay a key role in delivering high-quality geotechnical services to major power infrastructure clients while developing yourexpertisealongside experienced industry professionals.

The successful candidate willbe responsible forthe following:
Geo-environmental desk studies for linear infrastructure projects (OHL,cablesand pipelines).
Site reconnaissance, geomorphologicalmappingand asset assessments.
Ground investigation supervision including logging/sampling BS5930/EC7.
Project management of small to medium sized projects under direction of Senior or Principal Geologist.
Preparing ground models, producing analyticalsectionsand engineering parameters.
Geotechnical data analysis,processingand production of mapping.
Office support - project planning, proposal and cost preparation and business development.Skills,qualificationsand experience:
Relevant Geosciences degree (i.e. Earth Sciences, Geology or Geotechnical Engineering)
Proficient in soil/rock logging,samplingand site supervision.
Good working knowledge of ArcGIS
Proficiencywith geotechnical software (e.g.GeoFine, Slope/w, Pebble Geo)Personal Qualities
Ability to work independently
Practical problem-solving abilities
