An outstanding opportunity has arisen for a Geotechnical Engineer to join a leading international engineering consultancy in their Central London office.
This is a chance to become part of a highly respected engineering team delivering technically challenging projects across the buildings, infrastructure and transportation sectors. Key Responsibilities
Undertake geotechnical analysis and design for foundations, retaining structures, earthworks and ground improvement schemes.
Interpret ground investigation data and geotechnical reports.
Prepare technical calculations, specifications and design reports.
Support project delivery from feasibility through to detailed design and construction.
Liaise with clients, contractors and multidisciplinary design teams.
Mentor and support junior engineers within the team.
Contribute to project planning, programme management and technical excellence.
Requirements
Degree qualified in Civil Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering or a related discipline.
Strong experience within a consultancy environment.
Demonstrable experience in foundation design, retaining structures, earthworks and geotechnical assessments.
Proficient in geotechnical analysis and design software.
Chartered status (CEng) or working towards chartership through ICE or a similar professional institution.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
