The school is seeking a passionate and dedicated Geography Teacher to join their team starting in September 2024. The successful candidate will have a strong enthusiasm for teaching geography, a deep understanding of the subject matter, and the ability to inspire and engage students of all abilities.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver high-quality geography lessons that encourage critical thinking, environmental awareness, and a global perspective.
Create an inclusive learning environment that fosters curiosity, collaboration, and a passion for geographical inquiry.
Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback to support their academic and personal development.
Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and contribute to the overall improvement of the geography department.
Actively participate in geography-related extracurricular activities and contribute to the wider school community.
Qualifications:

A relevant degree in Geography or a related field.
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
Demonstrated experience in teaching geography at the secondary school level.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
A commitment to ongoing professional development and a desire to stay current with educational best practices.
