Geography Teacher (KS3 & KS4 Only)

Location: Newham, East London (Manor Park)

Contract: Starting at 4-weeks, extension upon review

Working Hours: 8:30am - 4:00pm, Monday to Friday (Early finish on Fridays)

Pay: (Apply online only) per day (No marking or planning outside of teaching schedule)

About the Role

We are seeking an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Geography Teacher to join a dedicated Humanities department. You will be responsible for delivering engaging and challenging Geography lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, inspiring students to develop a deeper understanding of the world around them while supporting their academic progress and achievement.

This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate teacher looking to work within a supportive school environment, with the potential to secure a permanent position after an initial temporary period.

Key Responsibilities

Plan and deliver high-quality Geography lessons across KS3 and KS4
Assess, monitor, and support student progress and attainment
Differentiate learning to meet the needs of students of varying abilities
Create a positive and engaging classroom environment
Support the wider aims and ethos of the school
Maintain high standards of behaviour and classroom managementThe Ideal Candidate Will Have

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification
Strong subject knowledge in Geography
Experience teaching Geography within a UK secondary school setting
A relevant degree in Geography, Humanities, or a related subject
Excellent communication and classroom management skills
