Location: Portsmouth

Position: Full-time (Fixed-term with potential for extension)

Start Date: September

Eligibility: Suitable for ECT and QTS

An excellent opportunity has arisen for a motivated and passionate Geography Teacher to join a thriving secondary school in Portsmouth. Rated "Good" by Ofsted, this school is dedicated to delivering high-quality education and fostering a supportive and engaging learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver dynamic Geography lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4.
Develop and implement lesson plans that align with the national curriculum and cater to the diverse needs of students.
Assess and mark student work, providing constructive feedback to facilitate academic progress.
Create a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere that encourages student engagement and participation.
Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the overall educational experience and contribute to the school's continuous improvement.
Qualifications and Experience:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or Early Career Teacher (ECT).
Strong subject knowledge and a passion for Geography.
Excellent organisational and communication skills.
