GSL Education Lincolnshire is excited to offer an excellent opportunity for a passionate and dedicated Geography Teacher to join an outstanding school in Bourne. This full-time role starts in September and runs until Christmas, providing a unique chance to inspire and educate young minds in a supportive environment.
Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver engaging and innovative Geography lessons that captivate students' interest and promote learning.
Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment where all students feel valued and supported.
Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and tailored support to help them achieve their full potential.
Collaborate with colleagues to ensure the Geography curriculum is comprehensive, coherent, and continuously improving.
Participate actively in school events, meetings, and professional development opportunities to enhance your teaching practice.
Requirements:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
Proven experience teaching Geography at the secondary level.
Strong classroom management skills with a focus on creating a safe and productive learning environment.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective interaction with students, parents, and colleagues.
Enhanced Child Workforce DBS on the Update Service.
A commitment to fostering student achievement and well-being.
