Teacher of Geography – Hereford
Start date – September 2024
5 days per week
TeacherActive is proud to be working in partnership with a mainstream secondary school that is part of reputable and well know academy trust. The school is Ofsted rated ‘Good’ and is a mixed secondary that looks to inspire the future leaders of tomorrow.
The full-time role starts in September and the school is looking to hold interviews immediately. The successful candidate would be working across both KS3 and KS4. Your role is to help students achieve excellent results in Geography, whilst applying a positive and enthusiastic approach.
The Senior Leadership Team and the Head of Department will offer excellent support and will provide an encouraging and supportive environment.

Applicants need to have the following:
QTS with Humanities specialism
The ability to cover other Humanities subjects is not essential but desirable
Experience teaching Geography up to KS4
Excellent classroom management
A real desire to make a positive difference to the pupils that you work with
Ability to fulfil all aspects of a full teaching role
Good communication skills
