Job Title: Geography Teacher

Location: Maidenhead, Berkshire

Job Type: Full-time, until Easter 2025

We are currently seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Geography Teacher to join a secondary school based in Maidenhead. As a Geography Teacher, you will play a vital role in shaping the minds of our students, imparting knowledge about the world's physical and human landscapes, and fostering an understanding of the interconnectedness of various geographical phenomena.

Responsibilities:

Create a positive and inclusive learning environment where students feel encouraged to ask questions, express their opinions, and engage in collaborative activities.
Assess student performance through regular evaluations, assignments, quizzes, and examinations, providing constructive feedback to support their growth and development.
Monitor and maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades, and progress, ensuring compliance with school policies and procedures.
Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues, providing regular updates on student progress and addressing any concerns or issues promptly.Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Geography or a related field; a master's degree is preferred.
Valid teaching certification or licensure in Geography or a relevant subject area.
Passion for teaching and a genuine interest in fostering students' curiosity and love for Geography.
Ability to integrate technology and digital resources into teaching practices.
Demonstrated ability to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Organizational skills and attention to detail in managing administrative tasks associated with teaching.
