PK Education are recruiting a Secondary School Geography Teachers for secondary schools located in the Walsall and Birmingham area. This role requires an enthusiastic teacher with a positive attitude to teach GCSE and A- level classes on a full-time basis (5 days per week). The successful candidate for this role will have the opportunity to work with a fantastic team in a welcoming environment.

The role of a Geogrpahy Teacher is diverse and challenging but also very rewarding. As a Geography Teacher in a secondary school, you will be managing student behaviour in line with the school's policies and procedures, as well as supporting students in undertaking learning activities across the curriculum.

This Geography Teacher role is suitable For: NQT’s, training teachers, retired teachers/TA’s, those unable to work full time, people needing flexible working hours, those wanting to network/gain exposure with new schools.

Geography Teacher responsibilities and duties:

This Teaching position will teach a variable timetable of all year groups across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 in Geography. You will be required to do all planning, marking and preparation for the classes you are responsible for as well as attending school meetings and parent’s evening.

To be considered for the Geography Teacher role you should have:

Recognised teaching qualification PGCE or equivalent (QTS).
The ability to quickly build positive relationships with both staff and students.
Strong subject knowledge of your specialism and the flexibility and willingness to cover every other subject on the curriculum.
