Geography Teacher Bury - September
We are supporting a 'good' secondary school in Bury who are recruiting for a qualified teacher of Geography to join them on a full time,basis. The role will start in September and you will be asked to teach classes in key stage 3 & 4 of varying academic abilities.
You will be expected to become fully involved in the school by attending departmental meetings, parents' evenings etc, as well as planning, preparing and delivering exciting and intriguing lessons to students to enable them to be keen and enthused to learn more. You will aslo be required to mark the work and provide regular constructive feedback to students.

EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS
Degree educated with a good classification
Secondary QTS (PGCE, SCITT, B.Ed, QTS, etc) in Geography
Previous UK experience, teaching Geography to young people (which we can reference)
Experience of teaching in a UK School (which we can reference)
Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year (essential, however training can be provided)
Up to date prevent awareness & FGM training issued in the last 3 years (essential, however, training can be provided)
TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:
Hold Right to Work in the UK
Hold an enhanced DBS certificate that is on the update service or be willing to process a new application
Provide at least two professional child related references to cover the last two years
