Tradewind are recruiting! Are you a qualified teacher of Geography looking for a new supply role in Trafford?

Tradewind Recruitment is currently looking for a talented Geography supply teacher to join a secondary grammar school in Trafford from September 2024 to October 2024 to cover a temporary absence.

This is a full-time temporary supply teaching role in the humanities department.

The Role

Teacher of Geography

Five days a week

Delivery of outstanding lessons in key stage 3 and GCSE Geography

Calm confident behaviour management skills with a focus on Assessment for Learning

Innovative teacher able to adapt lessons to the changing needs of students

Ability to teach Geography to A level would also be beneficial

The academy are interested in hearing from Early Career Teachers, experienced QTS Teachers and FE qualified teachers with experience of teaching children aged 11-16.

Excellent facilities for teaching and learning.

Mixed selective grammar school for students aged 11 to 18

To join us and be successful in this Geography Teacher role, you will need to:

Hold QTS Status or QTLS or equivalent further education qualifications such as PGCE14+ or Certificate of Education
This position is subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional references checks
Provide a CV with a full employment/education history included and any employment breaks must be explained
Have the legal right to work in the UK with no restrictions
