Geography Teacher

Description:

We work closely with a local Fareham Secondary School who are looking for a Geography Teacher for the Summer Term. The role is full time, although part time job shares would be considered.
Payment to scale for Teachers with Qualified Teacher Status.
Responsibilities:
* Experience of Teaching Humanities to GCSE level
* Shorter term planning will be required, and PPA time provided.
* The successful candidate will prove they are effective collaborators with all staff, and visitors.
* Successful candidates will have a working knowledge of safeguarding.
* To actively contribute towards a positive culture within the school.
* Taking responsibility for your personal Health and Safety at work, reporting concerns.
* Being committed to an ‘opportunities for all’ culture.
Requirements:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), or equivalent.
* DBS Enhanced Disclosure
* Teaching References
* A passion for teaching, and good knowledge of the subject area, to help maintain standards
* To establish appropriate relationships with young people and other professionals
* Be reliable, enthusiastic, creative and honest
* Have the ability to engage all students
