Geoenvironmental Engineer
Location: Nottingham
Salary: £32,000 - £37,000
An established environmental and ground engineering consultancy is looking to appoint a Geoenvironmental Engineer to join their growing team in Nottingham. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a collaborative consultancy delivering a wide range of brownfield redevelopment, infrastructure and industrial projects across the Midlands and wider UK.
You will join a supportive and technically strong team, gaining exposure to both geoenvironmental and geotechnical projects while working closely with experienced consultants and project managers.
The Role
Undertaking and supervising ground investigations
Soil and groundwater sampling and environmental monitoring
Preparing Phase 1 Desk Studies and Phase 2 Interpretative Reports
Assisting with contaminated land risk assessments
Supporting remediation strategy and validation reporting
Liaising with clients, contractors and regulatory bodies
Coordinating laboratory testing and subcontractors
Supporting project delivery from tender through to completionRequirements
Degree in Environmental Science, Geology, Engineering Geology or related discipline
Previous geoenvironmental or ground investigation consultancy experience
Understanding of contaminated land legislation and guidance
Experience with factual and interpretative reporting
Strong communication and organisational skills
