Description:
A Geo-Environmental Engineer position has come available in south Manchester to join a new Director in a mission to build/develop a Manchester office for a well respected UK based ground engineering consultancy.
You will come in as a Geo-Environmental Engineer, work directly under the NW director, helping to deliver a wide range of GI contaminated land, geotechnical and remediation projects from inception through to completion.
Your responsibilities as a Geo-Environmental Engineer will give you the opportunity to get involved in both aspects of Geo-Environmental and Geotechnical delivery. Typical responsibilities will surround; ground investigation, project management, financial forecasting, tenders/bids, phase 1's, phase 2 interpretive reporting, remedial methods, risk assessments, validations and onsite remedial monitoring.
To progress as a Geo-Environmental Engineer, you must:
Obtain a 2:1 In Geology, Environmental Science or Geotechnics. Ideally with an MSc.
At least 2 years experience within a Geo-Environmental/Geotechnical Consultancy or Contractor
Experience managing Ground investigations using various drilling techniques
Experience report writing, ideally interpretive.
