Our client is looking for a Geo-environmental or Engineering Geologist to join their brand new fifth office in Manchester. The role

The successful candidate will be directly under the new office lead, An extensively experience Geo-environmental consultant who has prior experience mentoring and managing engineers up to senior grade.

Day to day includes phase I & II environmental reporting, including contaminated land risk assessments. Geotechnical and environmental factual & interpretive reporting, including foundation recommendations.

Analyse soil and rock properties, providing expert advice on foundation design and construction.

Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, standards, and best practices.

Contributing to the growth of the company through your dedication and expertise.

Balanced workload between primarily local sites and the office.

Diverse range of projects spanning various sectors, including Commercial, Residential, Infrastructure and Industrial

Involvement in project management for smaller-scale projects, with input from start to finish.

Requirements

Relevant degree in environmental/earth science, geology or engineering geology.

Minimum of 2 years experience relating to the majority of the role details.
