Description:
We are looking for General/Line Operatives to join a high performing team, on a variety of manual/automated production lines. In accordance with the company's Health and Safety and Quality standards, to meet planned volume and commercial targets.
Key Accountabilities
* To adhere to and promote best practice in accordance with company health, safety and quality regulations. Following all Safe Systems of Work and Standard Operating Procedures
* Understand Customer requirement – following packaging specification
* To support the maximise production efficiency to ensure plan is met on an hourly/daily basis
* Follow guidance and direction given by your Line leader for the production process.
* To ensure that all areas comply with hygienic audits, both internal and external
* To ensure GMP (good manufacturing practices) and housekeeping (clean as you go) are strictly adhered to
* To assist in the training and development of new starters
* To act as a role model for best practice, adopting role model behaviours
* Minimise waste where possible
* To undertake such other duties as may be required from time to time, that reasonably fall within the scope and grade of the post
* Working within a chilled environment of below 5 Degrees, suitable clothing must be worn.
