General Workshop Operative
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: £12.00-£13.00 per hour
Expected hours: 42.5 per week
Workforce staffing are recruiting for General Workshop Operative for a busy manufacturing company in Shirley.
The role will be working in the manufacturing workshop area, manufacturing conveyor systems and steel work.
Using various hand and power tools
operating Guillotine and Brake Press
Ability to read technical drawings
Overhead 5 Tonne Crane
Loading and unloading deliveries
General workshop duties
Basic machine operations
Use of Band Saw for steel cutting
Stock control
The ability to prioritize tasks and adopt a flexible approach to working methods
The ability to work within a team environment
General housekeeping duties
Additional duties as required
FLT Counterbalance Licence desirable
