Monday Matters Recruitment is delighted to be supporting a successful and well-established automotive business in the search for an experienced and ambitious General Sales Manager to join their team in Bury St Edmunds.
This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially driven automotive professional with a proven sales background to take responsibility for driving performance, developing a successful team, and delivering an outstanding customer experience.
The Role:
As Sales Manager, you will play a key role in leading the sales department, achieving business objectives and ensuring the highest standards of customer service are maintained.
Your responsibilities will include:
* Leading and motivating the sales team to achieve and exceed targets.
* Driving new and used vehicle sales performance.
* Maximising finance and additional product opportunities.
* Ensuring exceptional customer service standards are consistently delivered.
* Monitoring performance, identifying opportunities for improvement and implementing effective sales strategies.
* Supporting the development and progression of team members.
* Maintaining a customer-first approach across all areas of the sales operation.
About You:
* Has a proven track record in a Business Manager/ Transaction Manager/ Sales Controller/ Sales Manager role
* Is commercially focused with a passion for delivering results.
* Has excellent leadership, communication and coaching skills.
* Understands the importance of customer satisfaction and brand reputation.
* Can demonstrate strong knowledge of automotive sales processes, including finance and additional products.
* Holds a full UK driving licence.
