About the Office:
The office boasts a modern, open-plan workspace where the team of 3 partners and 40+ professionals collaborate effectively. Due to recent growth, we are seeking a dedicated General Practice Manager to join the thriving team.
 
Purpose of the Role:
As the General Practice Manager, you will oversee an audit portfolio and serve as a primary client contact, ensuring the delivery of multiple assignments within agreed deadlines. You will exhibit strong technical expertise, effectively communicating complex concepts to clients in a clear and actionable manner. Moreover, you will actively contribute to the firm's growth initiatives, manage your team, and uphold our values.
 
Key Tasks and Responsibilities:

Manage a diverse client portfolio, maintaining deadlines, budgets, and quality standards.
Lead audits (75%), prepare accounts (15%), and manage corporate tax (10%) for assigned clients.
Plan and organize assignments efficiently to meet objectives.
Demonstrate leadership by supporting office management and mentoring team members.
Ensure compliance with ISO 9001 procedures and maintain high-quality standards.
Provide training and guidance to trainees and junior staff.
Actively participate in business development activities, fostering client relationships and identifying new opportunities.
Contribute to the continuous improvement of services and operational efficiency. 
Skills and Experience:

Qualified Accountant (ACA or ACCA).
Minimum 2 years of experience managing people and audit portfolios in a professional services environment.
Strong commitment to client service and excellence.
Excellent technical skills and commercial acumen.
Effective communicator with the ability to provide constructive feedback.
Strong time management and attention to detail.
Proactive approach to professional development and continuous learning.
