STEM Recruitment is seeking a General Operative for a leading Renewables company based in Northern Ireland. The role involves operating forklifts and other warehouse machinery to handle, sort, and transport large domestic appliances and electronic waste. You will support the recycling process by ensuring efficient movement of materials within the facility, adhering to strict health and safety standards. Your responsibilities include safely operating forklifts, assisting with material handling, and maintaining a clean work environment to promote safety and operational efficiency.
Previous experience operating forklifts/FLTs in a warehouse or processing environment
Knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations
Ability to operate machinery safely and effectively, with willingness to be trained
Strong attention to detail and team collaboration skills
Physical ability to lift and move heavy items
Flexibility to work day and night shifts and in a fast-paced environment
This positions offers a competitive hourly rate of £12.79, full-time hours (46 per week).
