General Operative (Ref: 12472)

Description:

We have an exciting opportunity for a Quarry Operative to join our expanding team based at Greystone Quarry, near Launceston. Greystone is an open-cut dolerite mine, producing 400,000 tons of aggregate per year with a 3 phase processing plant.

Reporting to the Site Manager, you will be part of a multi-skilled team, responsible for the safe and productive operation of mining equipment. You will have the opportunity to work across both mobile and fixed plant. The ideal candidate will be a multi-skilled operator with experience operating excavators and loading shovels, however, for the right candidate full training will be provided.
