Polypipe Building Products are focused on delivering solutions to the residential sector. Polypipe Building Products works with national and local developers, plumbing and heating engineers, general builders and groundworkers to deliver above and below ground drainage systems, rainwater solutions as well as hot and cold plastic plumbing products.
We currently have an exciting opportunity for a General Operative to work within the despatch team at Neale Road in Doncaster. The role is to safely recycle material within agreed timescales and in adherence with all Health & Safety requirements and other site rules.
Hours of Work: Monday to Friday, 08:00 - 16:30
Rate of Pay: £12.23 per hour
Key Responsibilities:

Operation of the site balers, compactor, and weighbridge
*
Separation of recyclable materials into appropriate receptacles
*
Ensure daily safety inspections are carried out on machinery etc, as per requirements before using them and any defects are escalated accordingly
*
Ensure all paperwork is filled in correctly, checked, and promptly returned to Supervisor
*
Assist in identifying areas of improvement within your area, promoting continuous improvement activities, to help eliminate process waste and also improve safety, engagement & efficiency
