Frontline Recruitment Weymouth are seeking a reliable and hardworking General Operative with some experience in painting, general operative tasks, and graining boats. The role involves working away sometimes at various locations, with accommodation and meals provided for jobs requiring travel. Key Responsibilities:
* Assist in general painting tasks, including preparation, application, and finishing.
* Perform general operative duties such as cleaning, maintenance, and manual labor.
* Assist in graining boats, ensuring surfaces are properly treated and finished.
* Load, unload, and transport materials and equipment to and from job sites.
* Follow all health and safety regulations on-site.
* Work effectively within a team and independently, as required.
* Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.
* Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.
Requirements:
* Some experience in painting, general operative tasks, and graining boats.
* Willingness to travel and work away from home for periods ranging from a few days to a week.
* Ability to work 38 hours per week with flexibility in working hours
* Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
* Basic knowledge of health and safety regulations.
* Reliable and punctual with a positive work attitude.
* Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
This role is temporary, but can go temporary to permanent for the right candidate.
