Following continued success and growth, my client is seeking a General Operative to join Their growing team team. As a General Operative, you will be responsible for the use of basic hand tools including saws, drills, Sanders and you will be required to help assemble outdoor bespoke furniture such as Planters, hutches, bird boxes, benches. stools and possess a strong attention to detail as well as some painting skills. You will also get involved in the stock rotation, preparing the product for despatch. You must have a keen eye for quality in order to spot any defects in the finished product before it leaves site. will be some heavy lifting in this role
Skills
To be considered for this role, you should possess the following skills:
- The ability to use / operate basic hand tools / Machinery safely
- Any previous wood working experience would be an advantage but not essential`
- Familiarity with a variety of hand tools used in carpentry
- Take pride in your work
- Painting skills for surface preparation and finishing
