Job Title: General Operative
We are currently seeking a reliable and hardworking General Operative to join our client on a National Grid project.
Requirements:
* Valid National Grid Person ticket (essential)
* Previous experience working on civil engineering, utilities, or construction projects
* Good understanding of site health & safety procedures
* Ability to work effectively as part of a team and follow instructions
* Reliable, punctual, and willing to undertake a variety of site duties
Duties:
* Assist with general site operations and support trades and plant operators as required
* Carry out manual handling and labouring duties safely and efficiently
* Maintain a clean, safe, and organised work area
* Follow site instructions, risk assessments, and safe systems of work
* Assist with material handling, site set-up, and other project-related tasks
* Adhere to all National Grid safety standards and company procedures
