The Client
Our client are a leader in their field - a well respected and well recognised Wedding Specialist working with some of the UK's most stunning venues.
The Role
The client currently have a fantastic opportunity to recruit a Venue/ General Manager for a beautiful Georgian manor house and contemporary barn venue, covering over five acres of breathtaking grounds and gardens. With a capacity of 150 seated. You will be overseeing 6 heads of department and a BOH team of 4 - Manager to include- Head Housekeeper, Bar Manager, Head Chef, Head of Events
Requirements
The client is looking for a Venue Manager with a Commercial focus and also a strong team/ people focus
Additionally requirements as follows:
Knowledge of event planning and management
Ability to develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors and suppliers
Strong organizational and multitasking skills
Excellent communication, problem solving, and customer service skills
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other software programs related to event planning and management
Experience with budgeting and cost control
