Candour Talent are currently recruiting for a General Manager to join our client based in Port Talbot.
* Location: Port Talbot
* Employment Type: Permanent/Full Time
* Working Hours: Mon-Fri 8-5
* Salary: £54-60k Negotiable DOE
An excellent opportunity for an experienced and customer-focused General Manager with a driven and positive attitude to join a well-established team in a busy and fast paced retail and trade sales environment.
The Role:
* General Management: overseeing day-to-day operations and sales
* Motivate, train, and develop the team to drive performance
* Prioritise Customer Service and the customer experience
* Be a reliable and trusted point of escalation for the team and customers
* Negotiate with suppliers
* Monitor and manage stock levels
* Identify process improvements and cost-saving initiatives
The Ideal Candidate:
* Previous experience of working in a Roofing or Builders Merchants/Supplies
* Strong knowledge of Roofing Products
* Proven people management skills
* Must have own driving licence
