Overview
We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Interim General Manager to provide strong leadership and operational oversight during a critical period of transition. This role is ideal for a highly adaptable professional with a proven track record of delivering performance improvements, stabilising operations, and leading teams through change.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide strategic and operational leadership across all business functions
* Take full accountability for P&L performance and delivery of key business objectives
* Identify and implement improvements to drive efficiency, productivity, and profitability
* Lead, motivate, and develop senior management and operational teams
* Manage change initiatives, including restructuring, transformation, or turnaround activity
* Build strong relationships with key stakeholders, including internal teams, clients, and external partners
* Ensure compliance with company policies, governance, and regulatory standards
* Deliver clear reporting on performance, risks, and opportunities to senior leadership
Requirements
* Proven experience as a General Manager, Operations Director, or similar senior leadership role
* Strong commercial acumen with demonstrable P&L responsibility
* Experience working in an interim or contract capacity is highly desirable
* Track record of driving change, improving performance, and delivering results under pressure
* Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
* Ability to quickly assess situations and implement solutions in a fast-paced environment
* Industry experience in [insert sector, if applicable] is advantageous
