Description:
Our client is seeking a dedicated and hardworking General Labourer to join their team for an exciting new build project. The successful candidate will play a vital role in supporting the construction team by performing various manual tasks to ensure the smooth and efficient progress of the project.
Responsibilities:
* Assist with the preparation of the construction site, including clearing debris and digging trenches
* Transport materials and equipment to the worksite as needed.
* Help with the installation of various components.
* Support the construction team with concrete pouring, mixing, and finishing.
* Perform general maintenance tasks, including cleaning and organising the worksite.
* Follow safety protocols and regulations to maintain a safe working environment.
* Communicate effectively with team members to ensure tasks are completed efficiently.
Requirements:
* Previous experience in construction or a related field is preferred but not required.
* Physically fit and able to perform manual labor for extended periods.
* Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
* Ability to work well in a team environment and follow instructions.
* A valid driver's license is preferred but not essential.
* CSCS (Construction Skills Certification Scheme) certification is not required but would be advantageous
