Company: Tier 1 Civil Engineering Contractor
Location: Chipping Warden, Oxfordshire
Day rate: £400 - £450 PAYE
Project: HS2
Randstad are currently looking for a General Foreperson / GF to work with a well established Civil Engineering Contractor working on HS2 in Chipping Warden.
Responsibilities:
Leading and coordinating on-site construction activities to ensure project milestones are met.
Managing and motivating a team of skilled workers, subcontractors, and suppliers.
Implementing and enforcing strict safety protocols to maintain a secure work environment.
Monitoring project progress and addressing any issues or delays promptly.
Collaborating with project managers and engineers to optimise construction processes and resolve technical challenges.
Ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and quality standards.Requirements:
Proven experience as a Foreperson / GF or similar leadership role in civil engineering construction.
Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate your team.
In-depth knowledge of construction methods, materials, and safety regulations.
Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
