General Foreman
Location – Surrey
Brief Job description -
Assist in the smooth running of the project and various activities including
Number of years of experience working in the capacity of general foreman
Experience of working on Highways/Roads projects
Ensuring gang(s) capabilities and resources are maintained
Supervising construction issues and resolving with engineering teams
Working to programme / schedules
Liaising with senior managers and other subcontractors to gain access in line with programme requirements
Managing materials and plant deliveries for programme and ‘just in time’
Ensuring SHEA compliance
Management reporting – allocation sheets, end of shift inspection reports etc.
The role requires high levels of managerial and supervisory skills and will suit General Foreman/Section Foreman /Roadworks Foreman with at least 5 years experience, to ensure all Client issues are satisfactorily resolved and the SHEA, works, housekeeping etc. are carried out to the required high standard and in a timely and efficient manner.
