Description:
PSR Solutions are currently recruiting for a General Foreman to work for an established Civil Engineering business specialising on large infrastructure projects.
The General Foreman will be responsible for all structures work including all reinforced concrete and bridge installation.
Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
Assist in the management of the physical construction activities as instructed by the Project Manager
Monitor weekly lookahead programme activities
Produce audit reports showing all physical works on site and provide feedback on Health and Safety issues to the Project Manager and the HSEQ advisor
Understanding and input in the change management process
Oversee the line management of direct and sub-contract labour gangs
Attend weekly supervisor planning meetings
Input into design buildability
Ensure levels of attendance for sub-contract works
Conduct tool box talks
Carry out site inspections and ensure appropriate standard of quality is delivered
Carrying out site inductions
Ensuring compliance with all works and Task Briefings
Assisting and producing RAMS and Task Briefings
Understand scope of work and the necessary outputs and quality requirements. Brief this as necessary
Ensure that Supervisors have correct information, plant and equipment require to perform the stated tasks
Ensure Gangs, Civils Manager and Supervisors understand programme of works
Co-ordinating Supervisors and gangs day to day activities
Ensure production outputs for activities are being achieved
Compliance is maintained in accordance Company procedures and with Health and Safety Plan, Quality Plan and Environmental Plan
