Description:
Abatec is offering the opportunity to join a regional civil engineering contractor within the South West. The contractor operates infrastructure, civils and earthworks packages such as drainage and road construction.
The project in question will consist of large scale S278 works, infrastructure, earthworks and drainage
As General Foreman you will:
* Be responsible for monitoring site operatives and subcontractors, ensuring programme deadlines are met.
* Drive the job forwards getting the best from the site team
* Organise plant and material ordering.
* Ensure health and safety standards are upheld on site
* Keep accurate records and deliver accurate information i.e. toolbox talks
* Ability to read construction drawings
Our client requires a General Foreman with:
* Experience of working on civil engineering projects
* CSCS Site Managers card and SMSTS
* Strong written and verbal communication skills with a variety of stakeholders including clients.
Rate
* £320 - £365
