General Foreman

Description:

Danny Sullivan is looking for a contractor that specialize in civil engineering is looking to recruit an experienced General Foreman to join their expanding team to work on project in IPSWICH. This is a great opportunity for the right candidate as our client is offering excellent salary and package as well as fantastic opportunities for progression

Duties:

Ensuring works are carried out productively with the safety of others a high priority
Managing and leading Earthworks team on site
Ensuring works are carried out to the highest standard
Ensuring schemes are delivered on time and within budget
Conduct site inductions, toolbox talks and daily briefings
Ensuring safety is first and foremost
Plant and Labour reconciliations
Communication with managers to ensure all site staff including Sub Contractors work safely
Material reconciliations and produce regular reports
Management of staff
Review method statements/risk assessments
Liaise with all relevant sub-contractorsRequirements

Proven experience as a Foreman within the civil engineering industry, ideally on large-scale infrastructure projects
Must have Earthworks Experience
Extensive and Wide Ranging Hands on Civil Engineering & Construction Skills
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
Excellent knowledge of construction processes, equipment and safety procedures
Strong leadership, communication and organisational skills
CSCS Black Card, SSSTS/SMSTS and First Aid
Full UK driving licence.INDBC
