Description:
An opportunity for a freelance General Foreman to work on a major, high-profile project in Somerset.
With over 12 months of work, this role is a good opportunity for a long-term freelance position.
The successful candidate will have previous experience supervising operatives and subcontractors, ensuring works are delivered safely, efficiently, and in line with the programme and specification.
As General Foreman you will:
* Be responsible for managing operatives and subcontractors, ensuring programme deadlines are met.
* Manage health and safety standards are upheld on site.
* Keep site diaries, daily allocations sheets, plant sheets, issue permits etc.
* Give daily briefings and conduct inductions and toolbox talks.
Our client requires a General Foreman with:
* Valid CSCS, First Aid & SMSTS
* Experience of working on civil engineering schemes.
* Excellent communication skills.
* A background in Civil engineering.
Salary and benefits include:
£400-£450 per day PAYE Umbrella
