Job Opportunity: Freelance General Foreman for Civil Engineering Projects
Job Overview
Our client, a leading civil engineering contractor, is seeking a Freelance General Foreman for a 10-week period to work on water projects in Edinburgh.
Responsibilities
As the General Foreman, your key duties will include:
Delivering toolbox talks and driving the project forward.
Managing site teams effectively.
Ordering plant and materials.
Providing proactive solutions to challenges on site.
Ensuring a keen awareness and practice of Health & Safety procedures at all times.
What You Can Expect
Start Date: 1st July.
Duration: 10 weeks.
Pay Rate: £28 to £30 per hour (Gross), dependent on experience.
Payment Methods: PAYE or CIS.
Requirements
Demonstrated experience working on civil engineering projects, particularly water projects.
Water project experience is desirable.
A full UK driving licence and own transport.
Essential qualifications: SSSTS, DOMS, and First Aid.
